The pot of Gold has moved to the Hoodoo Ski Area, which sits on the summit of Oregon's Santiam Pass. Founded in 1938, Hoodoo is Central Oregon's original ski area. The Ski Area offers more than 800 acres of terrain, 34 runs, 5 lifts. Terrain: Expert, 40%, lntermediate 30%, Beginner 30%. The annual snowfall is 450 inches.
Sisters Inn & Suites is 20 miles from Hoodoo Ski Resort and is within walking distance to the main part of Sisters. The lnn has a next-door bar and restaurant for those with short legs. Each ski day, be on the lookout for Hoodoo Mascot HAROLD HODAG.
