Schweitzer is located in the Sekirk Mountains in north Idaho and is the largest ski area in Idaho and Washington. The mountain is comprised of two massive bowls, steep chutes and stunning scenery across 2900 skiable acres served by 10 lifts and a vertical drop of 2400 feet. Schweitzer mountain overlooks lake Pend Oreille with views of neighboring mountain ranges in Montana, Washington, and Canada. It has runs of 10% Beginner, 40% Intermediate, 35% Advanced, 15% Expert, and with 92 trails, and the longest continuous groomed run called Little Blue Ridge Run which is 2.1 miles in length. The mountain offers a terrain park, 10 lifts including 1 high speed six-pack lift, 1 double lift, 1 t-bar and 1 conveyor lift. It also offers twilight skiing, tubing, Nordic trails, snow shoeing, cat skiing, scenic lift rides to the summit, and snow-mobiling.
